Powder Coating

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a high-performance surface finishing method that utilizes a fine, dry paint powder instead of liquid solvents. The process begins with meticulous cleaning and pre-treatment of the surface to ensure optimal adhesion. Next, the specialized powder—composed of resin, pigment, and additives—is electrostatically charged and applied to the object using a specialized spray gun. The charged powder particles firmly adhere to the grounded metal surface, creating a uniform, flawless coating. The final and crucial step is curing the coated object in an oven, where the heat causes the powder to melt, flow smoothly, and undergo a chemical cross-link bond, resulting in an exceptionally durable, attractive, and resistant finish. This finish offers outstanding protection against corrosion, chipping, and fading, making it a widely preferred choice in industries like automotive.

Our facilities operate with two dedicated shade-wise Powder Coating Lines that are driven by fully PLC Operated & SCADA Controlled systems. This state-of-the-art setup, manufactured by CRESENT and installed by KCT Bond India

, utilizes the world's lightest weight spray gun technology, ensuring the highest quality, consistency, and uniformity across all coated parts.
